What We're Measuring
The Physical
Mastering Fundamental Motor Skills (FMS) is the foundation of physical literacy and athletic success. During our on-site service days, we capture AI-powered motion kinematics across three core testing pillars.
01
Run
Speed, Mechanics & Pro Agility
We analyse both acceleration and top-speed phases, plus pro agility for change of direction. By measuring the raw velocity and time alongside the "Big 6" kinematic sprint metrics (Step Length, Step Frequency, Ground Contact Time, Flight Time), we help staff identify widespread technical deficits in PE and optimise top-end speed mechanics for sporting departments.
02
Jump
Power & Landing
We capture the raw data of CMJ heights and broad jump distances to assess lower-body power. Alongside these outputs, we evaluate the underlying biomechanics—such as stiffness, elasticity, landing mechanics, and deceleration—which are vital for reducing lower-body injuries across all school sports and coaching programmes.
03
Throw
Coordination & Efficiency
We measure the exact distance and release velocity of the seated medicine ball chest pass, and repeated throw and catch against a wall. This gives a clear picture of rotational power, upper-body coordination, and biomechanical efficiency, rounding out a complete profile of a student's fundamental capabilities.
Measure Once, Use Everywhere
Every student tested. Every faculty empowered.
Because DAT measures every student—not just your top squads—the data becomes a whole-school resource. Once it's in your AMS, sporting departments and other faculties can access it and apply it to their own programmes.
